Students met in Slovenia for our PlaNET SOEN 3.0 workshop

From 3 to 9 October 2022, students and project partners from our 4 partner countries met in person in Šentjur, Slovenia, for a workshop on social innovations, responsibilities and green economy.

Students came to the workshop with an innovative idea/project that they would like to implement both at their school and in their city or region. It was also for them that this workshop was designed, as the primary part was also dedicated to the development of students’ project ideas.

The atmosphere was excellent, the enthusiasm of the students was endless and each evening ended with a so-called international evening, where we could learn about interesting facts from each of the partner countries and could taste their respective specialties.

The host school was Šolski Center Šentjur, which is dedicated to educating young people to love farming, winemaking, gardening, caring for farm animals but also baking and confectionery.

At the same time, the workshop also included a visit to the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, which enchanted us all and we will definitely be back.

We made new friendships, learned new skills, got our student projects to the stage where they can be submitted for funding from the participatory budgets of towns and municipalities, and at the same time got to know the beautiful country and its culture.
