Hey there, folks! We’ve got some exciting news to share with you. Our 3 years long project, PLANET SOEN 3.0, is finally reaching its end. But don’t you worry, it’s not a sad thing at all! In fact, we celebrated our epic success with a whopping crowd of almost 100 students at the super cool City Hall of Banská Bystrica. Talk about a party!
Guess what? We didn’t do it alone. We teamed up with the awesome students from Evangelic Gymnasium to put together this final conference. It was a blast! We showcased our achievements, shared our visions, and highlighted the incredible student projects that emerged from the participatory budget movement. How rad is that?
Oh, and let’s not forget about the cherry on top. We had the privilege of hosting an amazing speaker, Maroš Chmelik, the director of CKO – Center for community organizing. The students from Evg Meet totally rocked it! And to wrap up the event in style, the talented students from Evangelic Gymnasium treated us to a fantastic cultural program. They sure know how to put on a show!
We owe a huge shoutout to this progressive school in Banská Bystrica and their incredible teachers. Without their support, none of this would have been possible. And of course, a massive thanks goes out to our super active students who poured their hearts and souls into making this project a roaring success.
