We are excited to announce that our successful PlaNET Social Enterprise 4.0 project is now expanding to countries outside the European Union! After eight years of implementation in EU countries, the project continues in Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro, where it will support young people and the development of social enterprises.

PlaNET SOEN started as a local initiative to combat youth unemployment in disadvantaged areas, but today it is a transnational project that brings together organisations from five countries and with six associated partners. The project focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills and supporting young people facing limited opportunities, using innovative learning methods such as game-based tools, mentoring and peer-to-peer approaches.

In the new phase of the project, which involves up to 800 direct participants and another 3,000 indirectly, young people will learn how to become leaders and entrepreneurs in the Western Balkans region. A key objective is to alleviate the “brain drain” from rural areas and help young people develop the skills that are essential for success in the labour market.

Project activities will include online and offline events, including two conferences in Poland and Montenegro, as well as professional workshops aimed at sharing best practices. Through this project, we are building strong partnerships that will enable us to create a lasting and positive impact not only within the EU, but also in the Western Balkans region.

PlaNET SOEN is more than a project – it is a tool for change that empowers young people to reach their potential and create stronger, sustainable communities. Together, we are expanding the options and opportunities young people need to become the leaders of the future.
