Behind every successful international project are countless hours of discussion, careful planning, and collaborative decision-making. That is why the partners of the PlaNET SOEN 4.0 project gathered for the Midterm Consortium Meeting in Budva, Montenegro, in June 2026 to shape the next phase of the project.
During three intensive working days, partners from Slovakia, Poland, Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro reviewed the project’s first achievements, analysed feedback collected from hundreds of young participants, and planned the activities that will follow across schools in the Western Balkans. Discussions focused on expanding peer-to-peer learning, implementing the upcoming School Participatory Budget activities, measuring the project’s long-term impact, and ensuring that the results of SOEN4 continue to benefit young people well beyond the project’s lifetime.
The Midterm Meeting was much more than a project coordination meeting. It demonstrated that strong international partnerships are built through continuous communication, mutual trust, and a shared vision. These foundations enable SOEN4 to provide meaningful opportunities for young people to develop leadership, critical thinking, and active citizenship across Europe and the Western Balkans.
Because the best projects are not created by chance—they are built by people who share a common ambition to transform education and empower the next generation of young leaders.
