After long preparation period our trip to PlaNET SOEN finally started in Revúca on 20th – 21st of September 2016. It was a great start in form of two days conference full of motivation and inspirational activities and speakers. Organizer presented the project and project team, local entrepreneurs shared their business stories, external experts spoke about social economy and productive public discussion brought many interesting opinions about social businesses and community development. Second day was enriched by presentations of our international partners from Romania and Slovenia and closed by interactive start up talk show. After the conference our international experts led trainings in two secondary schools focused on students visions about their regions, their dreams and own personal projects.
On 11th – 13th of October we successfully started also in Rimavská Sobota. Two days conference was rich on inspirational examples from practice and motivational speeches. After introduction and presentation of the project we get know very interesting personal stories of our partners and local entrepreneurs. It was again not just passive listening but guests had also chance to actively participate in discussions about social businesses and community development in their region. The conference was again closed with great start up talk show. Next day was committed to more than 40 youngsters from Gemer region. Thanks to our great trainers had youngsters chance to experience non-fromal learning tools and methods and to speak about their dreams and visions for their region or town.
Nowadays we are continuing in trainings for youngsters in two major towns of our region – Revúca and Rimavská Sobota. On 26th of October 2016 was organized training for ambitious youngsters from Revúca who had a chance to meet with successful local entrepreneur and discuss with him about his beginnings. After that they completed three hours training aimed at their personal contributions to positive change in their regions in form of business or community projects. On October 7th 2016 is in Rimavská Sobota starting block of trainings led by experts from practice focused on inner motivation, self-development, community development, business plan development, innovative marketing, and development strategies.
