The true success of a learning programme is not measured on the day the training ends. It is measured when participants begin sharing their knowledge and inspiring others.
This is exactly what happened within the PlaNET SOEN4 project. Young people who took part in the international Youth Academy in Albania returned home not only as participants, but as confident young trainers.
In Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro, they designed and delivered their own peer-to-peer training sessions, reaching nearly 100 young people. Together, they explored leadership, teamwork, sociocracy, and project planning. More importantly, the young facilitators themselves gained hands-on experience in leading groups, facilitating discussions, and taking responsibility for the learning journey of others.
Their transformation from learners into trainers demonstrates one of the most powerful outcomes of the project: sustainable impact that continues to grow beyond a single activity.
SOEN4 proves a simple but important idea – when young people are given trust, opportunities, and the right support, they become leaders who inspire and empower others.
