A new school year means a new challenge for PlaNET SOEN4. From 29 September to 1 October 2026, we are kicking off the new SOEN4 school-year cycle with a 3-day online training, bringing together young people from our partner schools in Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro.

This year, students from Ymer Dishnica High School in Korçë, Eqrem Çabej High School in Vushtrri and Srednja ekonomska škola “Mirko Vešović” in Podgorica will start their journey into School Participatory Budgeting.

During the online training, young people will learn how to turn an idea into a real project – from identifying a need and developing a project concept to planning concrete actions and preparing their own proposals. The approved SOEN4 methodology foresees 150 young people across the three Western Balkan countries in this first online phase. 

And this is just the beginning. In October, selected young project leaders will meet in Kosovo to take their ideas further and work on budgeting, financial management and social impact.
