PlaNET SOEN 2 project was presented as a good practice example in Kosice, Slovakia

Our two Slovak students, Petra Haulíková and Zuzana Kmeťková, attended and promoted Planet SOEN-ENTERprise your region project at international training supported by our Slovakian National Agency IUVENTA – Slovenský inštitút mládeže in Košice (East Slovakia), as a good practice example from the Slovak Republic, which could motivates participant and inspire other initiatives in their neighborhoods. The main objectives of this training course was to create a space for young leaders from region in order to create methodology, how to work with the competencies needed to move forward the social economy and to learn how to design youth initiative projects in local communities with social impact.

Zuzana and Petra confirmed that they gained a new knowledge about the increasing impact and sustainability aspect within the participatory youth work within their school, how to promote social economy values and they also explored good practices of social enterprises through different case studies.

Thanks to this training, our students learned how to:

  • Be aware of the importance of the social economy and social entrepreneurship approach in youth work.
  • Have more detailed knowledge of entrepreneurial competencies.
  • Have a solid knowledge of the Transnational Youth Initiative action of the Erasmus+ program.
  • Have good knowledge of project design and application.
