This has been a very intensive year for PlaNET SOEN 2.0 project in Portugal!
During this last few months all School Participatory Budget winning projects were implemented giving to Forave and all school community some renovated or new facilities as well as very cheerful events!
Due to PlaNET SOEN 2.0 project, Forave and its students can now count with renovated shower rooms that support the school gym. This was a huge improvement to the school! All students, teachers and school staff were very happy with this project, considering that students with better conditions performs better!
Another accomplished task from SPB was the outside relaxing zone. Now all school community can gather, chill in a very beautiful place and breath fresh air. With some recycled materials, that was given by partner companies, students were able to construct a very cozy chill-out zone.
It is important to remark that students responsible for the implementation of SPB projects were very proactive, searching and getting some extra support from partner companies! This way, besides the budget from SPB, Forave students received some additional construction materials, that made their final project results even more visible and detailed.
Followed and supported by their mentors, students that proposed their ideas, how to improve their school, could see their aims and all their effort being fulfilled.
Now, in Forave, school year has finished and summer vacations are here!
To finish it in a very good way, the project team responsible to promote events to cheer all school community, helped to prepare the final event making it even more unforgettable!
